Our story

Practical systems for brains that don't run on willpower.

YKS makes free, genuinely useful tools and practical guides for focus, habits, home and rest — designed divergent-friendly. All of it is free on purpose; one printed edition and an optional membership fund the work.

What we believe

  • Systems over willpower — if a tool only works on a good day, it doesn't work. We build for the hard days too.
  • Free-first, genuinely — the core tools and most guides are free, with no email walls on the essentials.
  • Gentle and shame-free — no hustle, no "just try harder." Practical scaffolding for how your brain really works.
  • Honest about scope — this is lived-experience, affirming guidance, never medical advice.

Who this is for

People whose brains don't fit the standard productivity advice — Divergent, autistic, AuDHD, or just busy and overwhelmed. Everything here is designed to be low-friction, work-with-you and immediately useful, whether you use it in the browser or print it out.

We're not gurus. We make calm tools that actually get used.

A note from the team

We didn't build YKS to sell you another productivity system. We built it out of frustration — with advice that assumes a steady, willing brain, and quietly shames the people it doesn't fit. On the good days you don't need it. On the hard days it just hands you one more stick to beat yourself with.

So this is the opposite. Tools that assume you're tired. That shrink "start" down to something you can actually do. That never punish a missed day. Gentle scaffolding, not another rulebook — the kind of quiet, practical help we wish had existed sooner.

It stays free on purpose. The people who need this most are often the least able to pay for one more subscription, so every guide is free to read in full, and the printed edition and the store keep the lights on. If it helps you through a hard day, that's the whole point.
