Colouring works because it occupies your hands and about sixty percent of your attention — enough that the churning stops, not so much that it becomes another task.
What breaks that effect is a picture. The moment there is a thing being depicted, some part of you starts assessing whether it is coming out right.
No subject, on purpose
Every sheet in this pack is pattern: tessellations, waves, scales, repeating geometry. There is nothing to be faithful to, so there is nothing to get wrong. You put colour where you feel like putting colour and the sheet is finished whenever you stop.
Graded, so you can pick by time
Some evenings you have ten minutes, some you have two hours. The open sheets fill quickly and look complete either way; the dense ones are designed to be worked in sections and left half done without looking abandoned.
Printed one side only
Markers bleed. Rather than pretend otherwise, every sheet has a blank back — so a bleed-through costs you nothing and you can print on whatever is in the tray.
